Canine Good Citizen Testing Sept 30

The Kennel Club of Fort Atkinson will offer the American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test on Saturday, September 30, at 10:00 a.m.  The CGC is a non-competitive test open to all dogs, including purebreds and mixed breeds, and is a prerequisite for many therapy dog certifications.

The AKC’s CGC program rewards dogs that have good manners at home and in the community, and successful completion of the 10-step test makes the dog eligible for the American Kennel Club’s CGC title.

The CGC test will be held at the KCFA training site, 710 Oak Street  (the club’s parking lot and entrance are accessible from North Main Street).  The fee for evaluation is $15.00 per dog.   (The $15 testing fee does not include the AKC fee to register the title.)

A limited number of testing spots are available, to be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please register by calling the KCFA, leaving a message including your contact information and the number of dogs to be evaluated.  (KCFA 920-568-0364)
